New Delhi: In a major late-night operation, Delhi Police’s Outer District team (@dcpouter) conducted a surprise raid at an illegal gambling den operating inside a hotel in Mangolpuri. The police arrested 33 individuals, including 5 women, involved in unlawful gambling activities.
Based on intelligence inputs, the raid was carried out swiftly and efficiently, putting an end to an illegal gambling racket that locals claim had been running for a long time.
During the raid, authorities seized:
- ₹1,56,710 in cash
- 1,034 gambling chips, with an estimated value of over ₹10.34 lakh
- Multiple gambling items, including cards, dice, and related materials
All 33 accused have been booked under the Delhi Gambling Act, and further investigation is underway.
This action reflects Delhi Police’s strong stance against illegal gambling networks and their growing use of real-time intelligence to crack down on such activities.
